Story of the Formation of ImmunoGold

I have always been told that everything happens for a reason. Lying in a hospital bed for weeks, with viral oesophagitis in my late teens, I struggled to see any reason for my suffering. Being ruled out of competitive sports and forced to change my high performance lifestyle and exercise routine for months on end was truly devastating. Little did I know, this challenging period would lead to the establishment of ImmunoGold.

At the height of my sickness, a gastroenteritis doctor informed me that my immunity and some of my blood counts were so low that they mimicked those of a person on the verge of death. Upon reflection, my general immunity was at best, around 50-60% of what it should be. At the time, I couldn't go longer than a month without getting extremely ill, and could never get over recurring illnesses, going from one bacterial or viral infection to the next. Furthermore, I could not find relief for IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) issues, like bloating, constipation and stomach cramps, irregular bowel movements etc. All the prescribed medicines from doctors would kill the infections but only worsen my immunity over time, making me sick, draining my energy and making me feel weaker. I was in a terrible place physically with chronic gut problems, cardiovascular anomalies, and sup-optimal respiratory tract function. This worsened my psychological state, and I was in a horrific space mentally, feeling like a victim to my circumstances.

This suffering eventually led me to discussions with my aunt, who is a biochemical science doctor, and an avid user and proponent of natural, and alternative medicines. At first like many, I was skeptical about the whole natural/alternative medicine route, but I agreed to speak to her colleague, Dr. Schmidt, a gastroenterologist, who specializes in integrative medicines.

Dr. Schmidt recommended a few lifestyle changes and treatments that truly changed my life. I started following a ketogenic /Mediterranean diet, taking natural, and potent supplements (Colostrum powder, Endocare GG and T-3, Ashwagandha, Magnesium L-Threonate, and Cholecalciferol).
